A Note from Your Volunteer Committee

We as members of the Music at the Farmstead Volunteer Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your help in making our 3rd Annual Summer Concert Series a success. Without your continued support and love of music, the series would not be the success that it is. Your contributions really do make a difference and you should be proud to live in a community that is able to put on great entertainment at such a unique and historic venue.

Music at the Farmstead results from the work of dedicated volunteers. Please help us by joining our committee or participating in your own way. You could make a difference by assisting in many different ways. If you would like to join our effort please send us an email or call the number below and leave a message.

Please call 330.666.9686 and leave your name, phone number and area of interest. Contributions are not limited to those listed above; if you have other ideas about how you could help, please let us know. Thank you and we hope you enjoy the Music at the Farmstead.

Sincerely,

Your Volunteer Committee

Keep the Music Playing!

Summer evenings in the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley are hard to beat. But they become truly memorable when you attend Music at the Farmstead, a unique three-part concert series of quality music and entertainment. There is no better way to spend these special and intimate evenings than with friends and loved ones.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and support of the community, concerts in the Conrad Botzum Farmstead’s restored 1898 barn will continue for another season. But your financial support to assist in covering the production costs of these concerts is critical. Please consider contributing at one of the levels listed to help keep the music playing at the Farmstead.

As an extra benefit, this season’s patrons at the $250 or more level and season ticket holders were invited to a special reception on Sunday, May 22, 2005 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the newly-renovated 1906 Botzum farmhouse. Jane Berkner, flute, and Steve Aron, guitar, treated us to a mini concert. Enjoy spring with great music and refreshments at the Farmstead!

We hope that you will purchase season tickets for next year’s series and become a financial supporter as well. Please send a check made payable to: Music at the Farmstead, P.O. Box 13293, Akron, OH 44334. Please include your name, telephone number, address and which tickets you would like to purchase.
