We do it all at The Conrad Botzum Farmstead! Have your next company outing on our beautiful property. Imagine a country wedding surrounded by the beautiful hills of the Cuyahoga Valley, then make it a reality at The Botzum Farmstead! COME BACK TO THE COUNTRY!

The rental fees vary, depending on the type of event. Some fees are by the hour, others are per person. You may rent for as many hours as you wish. Rental time includes set-up and take-down.
You must rent tables and chairs. This is arranged through The Farmstead, so that we have control of delivery and pickup dates and times. White, padded chairs are $2.15 each, 5’ round tables with seating for 8 are $7 each, 6’ round tables, seating 10, are $8 each. You may also rent rectangular tables. I do not have current prices for them (All of the above prices are subject to change, based on market rates and availability).

As of June 1, 2007 we have premanent, handicapped accessible flush toilets and sinks with hot and cold running water. Yippeee!

The barn will easily seat 170-180 at round tables, reserving space for a catering line and space for music and dance. If the 25′ x 45′ covered deck is utilized the number goes up to 190-210. The entire side of the barn opens to the deck so that people on the deck don’t feel excluded from what’s happening in the barn. Wedding seating may be in the field or meadow, depending on the weather, on the deck, or in the barn. Many possibilities. You’ll probably get a better feel for things when you visit.

You may chose your own caterer. We have had 5 or 6 different caterers to the farm. There are no restrictions. At least none that we can think of. We only require that the caterer visit the farm at least one month before the event to meet with us and get the lay of the land.

Alcohol is permitted. It cannot be sold….and it must be supervised. Botzum is a special place, with special history. We have great respect for The Farmstead and Cuyahoga Valley National Park and we expect everyone that visits this beautiful place to have the same respect

There are no restrictions on music. We don’t care much for heavy metal, dope smokin’, acid droppin’, punk rock, but if that’s what you like you may have it. Seriously, you may have what you like. Band, DJ, CD’s…it’s your call. We have plently of electricity for amplifiers and such. We just asked that the volume be controlled.

We have grass parking for 300+ cars.

As of the Summer of 2007, following the requirements of the State Laws of Ohio, The Conrad Botzum Farmstead is a NON-SMOKING facility. For those friends that may go over the edge if not permitted to indulge, we do have a small designated smoking area, adjacent to the 1898 Bank Barn, that we call the ‘fire circle’.
